What is the Cyber Advisor scheme?
The Cyber Advisor scheme is aimed at small and medium-sized organisations to help them improve their cyber security.
If you don’t have in-house cyber security expertise, easy access to qualified people who can help you secure your networks or lack the funds to invest in security and are unclear about where to focus your limited resources, the scheme could benefit you.
Cyber Advisors are vetted and trusted professionals who will provide cost-effective advice and, where required, hands-on help to improve your basic cyber security.
How we can help
We’ll work with you to assess any gaps between your current cyber security arrangements and the five technical controls of Cyber Essentials. Our focus is on the technical controls as the NCSC believes these mitigate most high-volume, low-skill attacks perpetrated through the internet, including ransomware attacks. So, one of the easiest ways to make the UK more secure is to help organisations implement the technical controls at scale across the UK.
Following the gap analysis, we’ll provide recommendations on addressing these shortfalls and can help with remediation. Once complete, you can apply for Cyber Essentials certification if you choose to do so. As a Cyber Essentials Certification Body, we can also support you with this process.

- ability to understand and work with small and medium-sized organisations
